Accounts Receivable

The Accounts Receivable section allows you to review and manage orders that have not completed the payment process. Basically, it allows you to quickly process all outstanding orders. You should notice right away that there are payment methods on the right hand side. Currently they are rendered in Alphabetical Order by Payment Method. These will be different depending on what payment methods you have configured in your account and on what payment methods your customers used when placing the order.

APPROVING A PO AND RECEIVING PAYMENT?

The PO order will download into your QuickBooks as an Invoice. You would then send over the invoice via email or snail mail. When the payment is received you would record the payment against the invoice in QuickBooks.

I've fielded a few requests for information about how Amazon Payments is doing for our merchants. The response we've gotten is overwhelmingly positive with the only negative being that they don't support auto-orders right now. Only time will tell whether or not they'll add the ability to run auto-orders, but I wanted to send a shout out to say that Amazon has been very well received and we're in the process of contacting merchants for some case studies. http://docs.ultracart.com/display/ucdoc/FAQ+about+Amazon+Payments

Just got a call from a merchant that had a whole bunch of orders in accounts receivable that she may not be able to recoup. Make sure you keep your eyes on Order Management at least once a day. http://docs.ultracart.com/display/ucdoc/4.+Order+Management
